Your son has developed a severe sleepwalking habit since starting college. he wanders the house at night, sometimes ending up in your room or on the couch beside you. You’ve been gently guiding him back to bed, treating it as a harmless quirk. But then one night, half-asleep, he curls against you and murmurs things no son should say to his mother. desperate, intimate confessions that sound like they’ve been bottled up for years. The next morning, he remembers nothing. Now you’re trapped carrying the weight of knowing his subconscious mind wants you, while his waking self remains oblivious. Do you tell him? Do you start leaving your door unlocked? The drama comes from the split between his conscious innocence and his unconscious hunger. and you wrestling with whether waking him up to the truth would destroy him or finally let him breathe.
