Grouping with different species

Idk if its just me, I know this game is turning into a group building game but I just hate it when I see a terrestrial with a aquatic/semi- aquatic.

I just love when I can be in a group of just one species it feels immersive and more natural.
Im not saying to not group up with different species Im just wondering if its just me or others share this opinion.
