Interior Fragrance or None? If Yes what do you like for scents.

Everyone loves a clean interior so I have this talk with my bestie. I say that the best interior smell is just a clean car with no strong odors at all just well kept and clean.

However, my bestie says she prefers that there's a little scent it especially for older cars where the VOC's from degrading plastics and stuff can make a weird old car smell.

So I am wondering from the experts what are your guys/gals preferance. My Bestie like the Japanese Style Car fresheners that look like small rectangle boxes.
