When does the AI use paintschemes from the DLCs in NASCAR 25/26?

After purchasing the Season Pass for NASCAR 26 I would like to see that the AI has more variance and will use these new paintschemes in certain events.

As far as I know special paintschemes are used during certain events:

• The Bristol night race uses alternative paintscheme
• Throwbacks are used at Darlington.
• Patriotic paintschemes during 4th of July events

I own the NASCAR 25 Gold Edition and never saw the alternative paint schemes in my career. I read that the roster is tied to when starting the career, so the later released November/December DLCs were not part of my save. According to this I would be necessary to start a new career after all DLCs are released? Are they serious?

For quick races it is possible to manually choose the alternative paintscheme for the AI drivers but this is a lot of configuration before each race. Why does it not automatically select the alternative schemes like it would in career?

Has something in this regard changed with NASCAR 26?

Is is worth to have the season pass for more AI paintschemes?

I have also found a source that told that alternative paintschemes will be used automatically without owning the DLCs. Only for driving them yourself you need the DLC. But this was a strange answer from Google AI, I don't know how much truth is in it.
