Do they really come back?

It had been tense lately. We both had personal issues piling up.
Then it came to a head. We had a crazy argument. It could have been resolved. He cowardly ended it.

It has been a couple weeks since our last real conversation other than discussing moving on.

I am not sure about where my head is. I do miss our connection and friendship. Do they really come back?
