Antibiotics triggered severe anxiety similar to prior episode following Covid?

Back in July I took a 5 day course of Flucloxacillin and I'm pretty convinced it's triggered severe anxiety. Lots of irrational intrusive thoughts and this 'raw' anxiety response to the most normal of things. Losds of GI issues and lost a tonne of weight. Some days are better than others but ultimately had to go back on ssri to help manage as was starting a new job when it hit. Not sure if it's my gut microbiome being shot but it's crazy how this has come on.

Weirdly something similar happened 2 weeks after a covid infection back in 2022 and it took my about a year to feel like myself again.

Any link? I guess I've just gotta strap myself in for the ride again.
