I think I have PMDD

Ranty Rant - Advice Okay

I recently got my birth control implant in my arm (nexplanon) removed in November of 2025. I originally had it put it in 2021. It was very overdue and expired and needed to be taken out. It messed with my hormones and my periods so bad I couldn’t remember what a normal period was like. My mental and emotions did not get that bad I did not have bad irritability, anxiety, and just flat out hate like I do now. My periods would be super light and be about 2-3 weeks long. After getting it out my periods have slowly gone back to normal and now I have a period that’s only about 4-5 days long which is amazing. But now it feels like I’m having a period for the first time all over again. I’m having my raw emotions, I’m having cramps, it gets really heavy. But every period I have is just getting worse and worse. The week before my period is absolute hell for me and the people around me. Getting up for work is impossible, I’m miserable at work all day. It’s been effecting my relationship terribly. I’m constantly anxious from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. It makes me just forget who I am and start questioning everything. To get to the point I’m wondering if the birth control caused this or if it’s just coincidence. That might also be a dumb question lol. I will be making a drs appt soon.
