a tiny victory

I was making tea today and accidentally made the perfect amount.
Not “I’ll have some leftover and reheat it later” perfect. Not “this could’ve used slightly more milk” perfect.
Exactly enough tea to fill my cup.
I stood there staring at it for a few seconds soaking it up like I had just accomplished something incredible.

Anyway, life is good sometimes. 🍵
