[M4F] The “work wife” decides to make her move

The alarm went off on his wrist as he sleepily tapped the snooze button on the smart watch. Easing his legs out of bed he glanced back at his sleeping wife, who he had been married to for the last 21 years. While they still slept in the same bed, it was out of habit and normalcy, opposed to passion and sleep deprivation due to fucking deep into the early hours of the morning.

John showered, grabbed his coffee and commuted to work. He and his wife had separate jobs, separate lives away from one another and different daily aspirations. With John’s work, he finally had the opportunity to talk at ease, be creative, and make people genuinely belly laugh with his sense of humor. Rarely did this side come out at home due to gloom and disdain dripping from his spouse.

(Your character) has gotten to know John over the last year, working in cross functional departments and has crossed the threshold of acquaintances into being actual friends. While he is a bit older than her, there never seems to be a dull moment between them. She begins to ponder why John never mentions his wife, stories of his weekend or of vacations. While she can see that there is something below the surface with his personal life, she enjoys the time they spend together at work.

She begins texting John, innocently at first, “we have that shitty conference call today!! aarrrrr 👎👎” but as they continue to text, the messages become more overt and direct. “Tell me honestly, can you see through my shirt today? Someone said it was too thin…maybe I shouldn’t have worn my turquoise bra…”

John becomes reinvigorated by the sweetness and attention from (you). He has a pep as he walks around the office and home. He also can’t stop thinking about the upcoming work conference in Dallas. He will have an opportunity to enjoy the company of his work friend for four glorious days…
