Concerns for Current State of Game

Discussion

With all the good news floating around about unvaulting content and possible changes to continued development, is anyone else concerned about what that might entail for the current state of...

Eververse? An evergreen state left for us to earn bright dust in game through activities and essentially earn every single cosmetic left in the game. My worry is that they'll change it to a model that better suits their monetization needs.

Artifacts? Putting a "best of" assortment of past artifacts for us to play with and build around putting the sandbox in what might be the most flexible (and fun?) state it's ever been in. Build crafting has never been more vast in this game's lifespan. And if some sort of seasonal model returns, they might make some changes that won't fit the game's evergreen state such as limiting the amount of artifacts we have.

Sandbox? Partially spoken about in the artifacts section but many armor set perks and artifact perks have been made with the last monument of triumph update and has been cleared that some are the clear winners of the sandbox. VoG possibly being heavily nerfed for its optimal state for boss DPS and roam builds, Europa 2pc being fixed to it's intended state, kinetic ammo bricks from the data disc artifact getting a heavy internal cooldown, truth nerfed, hierarchy of needs changed to not work with crossbows, weapon perks and legendary weapons being at their historical peak of power, one thousand voices catalyst getting nerfed, etc.

Has anyone else grown attached to the current state of how the game runs? Am I alone in worrying that changes to d2 might shake the game in a way that doesn't fit it's vast evergreen state? I know that this is a "what if" post and may be too early but I wanted to see if I'm alone here.
