McKinsey Germany: waiting period after being rejected for an event?

Hi everyone, I was recently rejected from McKinsey’s You Grow programme. The FAQ for the event says you can reapply any time but recommends waiting 12–18 months after a rejection.

Does this waiting period also apply to full-time positions? Has anyone successfully reapplied adfter getting rejected from an event. I am really discouraged.
