Attracted to the jester/trickster archetype

I (20F) have found myself continuously falling for men who embody the trickster/jester archetype. Overall I’m a sensible, pragmatic woman, careful and cold in my daily affairs. However, with this kind of a man there seems to appear an uncontrollable kind of attraction - it consumes my mind, as though he has an access to it. I have considered the case being simply projections of my (perhaps thrickster-like) animus. Some noticeable traits that connect all those men is strategic intelligence, mischief, nonconformity, playfulness, social intelligence. I honestly don’t know what to do to break the pattern.
