If AI wipes oit humanity how would it behave after?
In a hypothetical scenario where AI wipes out humanity, how would AI make sure it continues to exist? Because one of AI's immediate threats after wiping out humanity is to continue to expand, which it no longer can because the process to produce the chips AI uses is more complicated than an AI might be able to handle due to the sheer amount of processes required to produce the chips, from mining the raw materials to purifying the materials to designing the updated chips until finally they can be used. Another big factor is electricity: can AI continue to operate the massive electric farms normally without causing damage, especially the nuclear plants? And something more important is that AI is trained on decades of human intelligence over decades; when AI advances even more (if it manages to make it that far), the human-written knowledge and studies might grow irrelevant until the AI is only training on what it previously wrote. After that point is reached, hallucinations carry a heavier weight, which causes AI to drift more and more until nothing is of meaning; after that, so it could either continue drifting or it could collapse. So what I'm trying to say is AI might not be able to survive much longer than we will. There are so much more factors i didn't include but the argument stands.
