Story

Just turned 30 and I've reached a point where I genuinely have no idea how people meet each other anymore (Bucharest).

I've been off social media for more than 10 years. I have a respectable career, responsibilities, and a job I care about too much to jeopardize for a workplace romance. I'm not interested in dating coworkers, and I'm definitely not about to risk my career for a temporary adventure.

I don't go out much anymore. Not because I'm antisocial, but because I have other priorities, limited free time, and absolutely no interest in forcing myself into a lifestyle I don't enjoy just to meet someone.

I'm not going to suddenly create Instagram, start clubbing, or pretend I love crowded bars.

And before anyone asks: yes, I'm 30, but apparently I still look closer to 20. Based on previous feedback, I don't seem to be disappointing in the looks department either, so I guess the packaging isn't the problem.

I'm also not some guy who's completely closed off to meeting someone. I enjoy good conversations, humor, and getting to know someone beyond the usual small talk. I just don't really know where people are supposed to find that anymore when you're not constantly online or out every weekend.

At this point, my life is pretty well established. I have a career I'm proud of, my own responsibilities, and a decent idea of what I want. I'm not looking for someone to fill a void or turn my life upside down. I'd just like to meet someone who makes me think, "Okay, I actually want to make time for this person."

And honestly, I think that's the part I'm struggling with. I have the time for the right person, but I don't have the energy to spend it chasing random connections that go nowhere.

If any of this resonated with you, or I simply caught your attention, feel free to reach out. Worst case, we have a good conversation. Best case... who knows, maybe there's a whole plot waiting to unfold.
