Hey everyone,

I'm a live sound/system engineer and over the last while I've been working on a project called showstart.

It allows you upload the production documents for a show and it goes through them together looking for missing gear, conflicting information between documents, audio issues, scheduling/labour problems, power concerns, and other things that might be worth catching during the advance.

Ive been using the past few months and has definitely caught things on a few runs that were missed by myself and project manager.

I'm at the point now where testing it on my own projects only gets me so far.

I'm **not really looking for customers here**. I'd like to find a few other people who work in live production who are willing to throw a real production package at it and tell me where it does well, where it falls on its face, and what you would actually want a tool like this to catch.

Audio is obviously the area I know best, so feedback from other engineers would be especially useful.

If anyone wants to try it, it's [showstart.io](http://showstart.io)

And if you do run something through it, don't go easy on it. I'd genuinely rather hear "this is useless because \_\_\_" than get nice feedback that doesn't help me improve it.

I built a tool to check production docs before show day — looking for some honest feedback from live sound people
