Anyone watch Star Treck: Strange Worlds? there's a Princes Bride reference in it.

Pelia (Played by Carol Kane) :

The Princess Bride references are mostly built around Pelia / Carol Kane:

1. “As you wish.” Pelia says this after Queen Neve orders her to write the story of how she destroys the “Iron Dragon.” That is the big classic Princess Bride phrase — Westley’s “I love you” code phrase. Forever Dreaming
2. Chef Max = Miracle Max. Pelia praises the queen’s cook by saying, “Max? Miracle worker.” That is not subtle — that’s a direct wink at Miracle Max from The Princess Bride. Forever Dreaming
3. Carol Kane makes the joke land. Carol Kane, who plays Pelia on Strange New Worlds, played Valerie, the wife of Billy Crystal’s Miracle Max, in The Princess Bride. TV Insider explicitly calls out the Max/miracle-worker line and Pelia staying behind with Max as the Princess Bride references. TV Insider
4. Pelia staying behind with Max. At the end, Pike says Pelia is staying behind to study the ship/planet and adds that she “hooked up with the queen’s cook, Max.” So Pelia basically rides off into the fairy-tale sunset with a Miracle Max stand-in. Very subtle. Like a brick through a stained-glass window. Forever Dreaming
