One small part of rebuilding my AI humanizer: keeping the draft through signup

Someone can paste an essay into the editor before creating an account. After signup, they should get that essay back, not an empty box.

For this rebuild, the draft is stored in sessionStorage along with the Basic/Stealth choice and writing type. When it is restored, the app rejects drafts older than 24 hours and validates the saved settings. The text doesn't go into the redirect URL or Analytics.

The trade-off is that this is recovery within the same browser tab, not cross-device document storage. That was enough for this part of the signup flow without adding a server-side document system.

The live tools have a three-day trial, then a paid plan. Codex helped with the rebuild and this post.
