My first time at a Kspa - SpaLand ATL

This past Saturday was my first time at a K-Spa. Overall I really enjoyed it. I have zero issue with nudity, as I grew up with mandatory gym showers from 4 grade on and was in three sports through high school, back then no one would even think of nudity as an issue, towel dances were not a thing and communal showers were the ONLY showers. Given my past experience, I was a bit surprised at all the guys hiding their junk with the little towels.

There were about 10-15 guys of all ages in the wet area during the time I was there. Most walked around nude and I saw one guy try to enter the steam room with shorts on and the attendant immediate told him it was a nude area and he had to leave or take off the shorts.

There was also a couple guys who were obviously there looking for action. One guy would generally cover his junk with a towel and spent most of the time sitting on a stool by the showers, but he would flash who ever walked by and he was obviously excited. At one point that guy and another were obviously doing something behind a frosted glass screen. At another point a bit later, while a clearly sadistic attendant was skinning me alive (body scrub), he abruptly left me on the table and went to the steam room and told the two aforementioned that they had to leave and were being banned from SpaLand.

I enjoyed the hot tubs and I love steam rooms - that one was great. Would prefer the hot tubs to have jets, but still nice. There are many options in the common area for dry saunas with a variety of temps - I actually loved the ice sauna which I was NOT anticipating.

But overall a positive experience, I'm looking forward to my next kspa experience. Not sure I'll do the body scrub again.
