fatigue
I’m just sharing my symptoms in case someone else has experienced something similar and ended up getting a hysterectomy, and their symptoms improved.
Long story short, I’ve had years of extremely painful periods. This year, my doctor put me on birth control. The first two months, it did help, but now, after about six months, no painkiller works. Nothing works. I am literally screaming and crying from period pain.
But there’s another symptom that I never had before: fatigue.
For about 10 days before my period, and now today being the fifth day of my period, I’ve been experiencing this debilitating fatigue. I honestly don’t know what to do about it.
I know I need to discuss these symptoms with my doctors, but I’m asking people here if you’ve had similar experiences, please share.
As of now, I’ve only been diagnosed with fibroids. My doctor is going to do an MRI, etc., to check for endometriosis and possibly adenomyosis.
I’m just asking if anyone has gone through something similar. Regardless of whether I have endometriosis or adenomyosis, I’m at the point where I’m done with this pain and this hell every month. I’m going to pursue a hysterectomy.
