Remembrance Gift for 1st Marathon

A very close friend is running the Chicago marathon in Oct. He’s running to raise research money for his dear friend’s cancer. Sadly, his friend just passed away.

What is a heartfelt marathon/running focused gift I could get him to celebrate running the race and the life of his friend? Of course I will be donating $.
