I (23F) can't hold it during anxiety or stress
When I get really anxious or stressed, it's like my body suddenly decides it needs to pee and I have to focus so hard on not peeing myself.
If the anxiety gets bad enough to trigger a panic attack I almost always end up actually peeing myself. It's like the muscles that are supposed to hold it in just stop working, as if they stop existing all together. I can feel it happening but no matter how hard I try my body just refuses to do anything to stop it.
It's kind of like those scenes in movies (and I guess it happens in real life too) where someone gets so terrified, like during a kidnapping or something, that they pee themselves. It just happens.
I've had this since I was a kid but I don't have any other issues with incontinence whatsoever.
Am I the only one?
