WhatsApp issue on the new phone

I had my WhatsApp installed in the previous iPhone X and which got damaged and stopped working at all , and the I bought a new iPhone , and then I logged with my iOS and backed up the data by iCloud , and I tried to log into WhatsApp , but unfortunately I’m not able to get a code to my MOBITEL sim, what could be the issue? Any one faced the same issue?

I won’t receive calls either nor a text message, but when I created an eSIM with dialog the WhatsApp code came without an issue , I called Mobitel as well and they said they don’t have any issues regarding the sim
