Questions to ask a wedding planner?

So my fiancé and I are long distance (same country, different states) but we’re gonna try and do it in my hometown because at my family and I are here and guests will need to travel regardless.

The struggle is that we both have exhausting full-time jobs, I’m in school part-time, and plane tickets are too expensive nowadays for him to come here every other weekend. It also doesn’t help that both of us are pretty clueless when it comes to wedding planning and the headcount for the wedding is approximately 300 guests total.

So we’re considering a wedding planner and I’ve called one for a call tonight, but, again, I feel like I’m blindly wandering around and I don’t want to waste her time either.

What questions should I ask her?
