He replies to everything except my invitation to hang out... (Update)

(25F) Hi, I want to update you on a previous post so you can help me understand this guy.

The short version is that I was planning to text him: “This Saturday I’ll be downtown around 7 pm if you want to meet up” (he lives downtown and told me to let him know when I’m around).

The thing is, he had left me on “seen” for about a week. On Thursday, when I finally sent the invitation, he replied to everything. We always talk extensively about things we like, so it was almost 10 messages and he answered them all.

I replied to everything too, and at the end I sent the message about meeting up.

On Friday he again replied to everything — even asked me directly about my music taste — but ignored the invitation.

I’m really confused. It would’ve been easier if he just said he couldn’t or didn’t want to go out, or even left me on seen. But instead he made the effort to answer every single message about movies and music, with replies over 8 lines long.

Guys, help me understand!!!
