Green fever or what do I call it?

In grade 8 to 10 I was really depressed and willing to do anything just to feel "happy" for awhile. In grade 10 before my 2nd term exams I decided to try weed. I got some from a friend and that night I went to the bathroom and lit it. I couldnt smoke it because it kept going off, me being desperate to get high decided to eat it... The next night I couldnt sleep at all and soon after went to see a psychiatrist who diagnosed me with heavy depression and anxiety triggered by the weed. 3 weeks later I was back at school for 3rd term but during those 3 weeks i was extremely delusional and imagined alot of crazy and demonic stuff. Would this be considered green fever or what do I call it? If i consider trying weed again how would I go about it?
