Anyone here from JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore?

I’m considering joining JCT College of Engineering and Technology and wanted to hear from current students or recent graduates.

I’m mainly interested in the actual day-to-day experience, rather than the information given on the college website. How is the overall environment there?

A few things I’d like to know:

How strict is the college regarding attendance, dress code, phones, going out, etc.?

How much freedom do students actually have on campus?

What are the usual college timings? Are Saturdays working?

How is the faculty and teaching quality, especially in the different departments?

How is the management and their attitude toward students?

What are the hostel rules, if anyone has stayed in the hostel?

How stressful/strict is the overall academic environment?

How are placements and internships in reality?

Is there a decent balance between academics and student life?

Are there any important rules/restrictions that someone joining should know beforehand?

I’d especially appreciate responses from current students or recent graduates, since things may have changed over the years.
