Anybody played a game in November?

So I recently generated a schedule using one of the tools in the OOTP Mods forum since my league recently expanded. Not having that much experience with it I didn't pay to close of attention to the product of that schedule generation and realized after I had already started into the season that the schedule pushes the end of the regular season all the way to the end of October, which means the post season will run into early to mid-November.

So, first question is does anybody here have experience with November games? Does the games weather engine adapt for Northern teams and the weather that could be present?

I assume that winter meetings and Free Agency will operate on the same schedule just a bit truncated timeframe in-between, but has anyone had any kind of issue?

Thanks in advance for any experience you may have in advance. I have figured out how to change it next year so that it doesn't happen again.
