Following up on a previous post, looking for a consensus on if you all would send it with the 28s, or downsize to 25? The image shows the two closest points, both on the rear tire.

Top is the brake bridge, with a 4mm gap (I could file this down a slight bit more and seal with some white touch up paint, it’s not a spot that will ever be visible so I don’t care too much about filing it down. I believe 4mm is within the generally agreed upon safe clearance range.

Bottom image is a top down view of the clearance between the tire and the front derailleur body. I’ve filed it a bit so it 1.
Has more clearance than before, and 2. Is a bit smoothed out, before it was like a knife’s edge. There’s still material that can be filed, it’s not a structural part it just houses the limit screws. But I’m not sure if that’s worth doing or if 2.5MM is fine for such a small area. It’s not like the chain stay where there is a lot of surface area for debris to get stuck.

I have gone for a quick ride on my lunch break with some turns and climbs, pushed as hard as I could during the short ride, and felt no rubbing of any sort, nor did I notice any sort of rubbing residue or marks when I got back. I’ll be taking it for a longer ride tonight when I have some more free time.

Any opinions are appreciated!
