Live Rosin/Resin vapes hurt throat

Wanted to see other peoples takes on this.
Recently have been getting horrible sore throat after vaping a live rosin or a live resin cart.
Specifically a Bountiful Farms Orange Soda Live Rosin disposable (I think my friend burnt it by taking a few repeated hits when I told him not to), and a Roots Refined Ice Cream Kush Live Resin or Live liquid diamonds cart at 2.0V.

The thing is I don’t get the same sore throat from regular distillate fernway pens. Its only from live resin or rosin pens. It makes me think its something to so with the terpenes changing the way the cart hits about halfway through. I feel like I cant even get high or enjoy the high from them because my throat taps put before I can.
For that reason the only way I can consume live rosin is edible form for now, and vaping is only distillates for now.
