Pokémon card collecting is so whack

It seems like a less profitable version of sports gambling if that is even possible. “pulling packs” hoping to get a certain card is crazy. Their values are more volatile than the stock market so saying one is an investment is pointless.

If you get a great card what do you do? File it away. Do you really spend time looking at it to justify the price? Is sitting around looking at cards fun?

When you spend money on other hobbies at least you get to use what you buy. Collectible cards often aren’t even good in the game. Warhammer figurines you get to pain them, skis you use them, etc…

Cards are just pieces of paper.
