Question about resolution

So I have a Nitro + 9070XT and a 9800x3d 64gb of DDR5. My monitor is Samsung 32" Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) Gaming Monitor, QD-OLED, 4K Resolution
The 2 games I’ve been playing recently are Onimusha way of the sword and Aniimo.
Onimusha on all high no ray tracing is giving me 90-100 fps but Aniimo even when I put shadows and lights at medium won’t make it to 120fps comfortably.
I’m hoping that anyone here that has been in a similar situation can tell me if I should downgrade to a 1440p monitor or if I’m ok staying where I am.

I mostly play JRPGs and souls like but I will do the occasional AAA story game every once in a while
