This summer/fall cold has brought my asthma back with a vengeance

Has anyone else had their minor asthma flare up badly after a cold, and not settled down after?

I haven’t had to use my inhaler regularly in years (then again, I stopped using my inhaler when I left my crossfit gym). I caught a cold over a week ago and now I’m using my inhaler as often as google said I could (12 times a day).

I have 1 inhaler (90mcg albuterol sulfate) and I honestly don’t remember if it’s the asthma attack inhaler or the 15-30 minutes before physical activity inhaler, but I’m guessing it’s the latter.

I haven’t coughed like this since I was a kid. I can’t even walk to my college classes without coughing up a lung. It’s hot in my room but I can’t sit in front of the fan without coughing. I’ve missed over a week of my in-person classes and am worrying about my grades.
