Methyprednisone 5 day pack

I've searched but didn't see anyone else that's tried this. Here's my question, I have a Medrol pack and was wondering if anyone has taken the pills only 2 per day to stretch it out to 2 weeks. I was figuring if each pill was 4mg that would be an 8mg dose a day. I'm going on a 2 week vacation that may require a fair amount of walking and am trying to avoid taking a bunch of Oxy.
