My Uncle Got Upset With Me After I Said No To Driving Due To My Health Conditions

I have never posted here before. I am autistic and have adhd among other mental health comorbidities. I'm a 26 year old man who is disabled and has to live with my grandparents.

My grandmother cannot drive at the moment due to her own issues.

My uncle tried to get me to drive her and got upset with me after I said I cannot due to my health conditions.

I understand he may be stressed about his own life or other things, but that doesn't make it okay to throw a tantrum in response to my saying no.

It is likely he thinks I am perfectly able and am just lazy. I think he is ableist, or perhaps just doesn't know my situation.

It would be a danger to myself and others if I drive. My vision changes due to derealization and anxiety while driving so my doctors have said to not drive anymore for safety.

I am a very sensitive person so my fight or flight has kicked in and I am stimming alot to help with the anxiety.

I would like to be able to drive and help but it is not possible for me. It isn't a matter of pessimism here, it's just very dangerous for me to do it.

I am reminded that just because someone is an adult, does not mean they act in such a way.
