Tribune K high vs. low row
Hi everyone,
I have some questions for folks who have sat in K Grandstand at Monaco. I'm planning on attending next year's GP for Saturday Quali (and Sprint Race, I guess) only. From the trip reviews and other articles I've read on GP Destinations, here, and Oversteer, the overwheming consensus is to sit in the top rows to see as much of the track as possible. However, when I watch videos from these top rows, it's quite hard to see the cars when they pass by, as they're hugging the right side of the track closest to the grandstand. And when people stand up, they block the cars even more.
If I actually want to see the cars zooming past during quali, isn't it better to sit in lower rows? Or is there too much obstruction from the catch fencing, or other factors like marshalls, equipment etc blocking the view?
For quali, having visibility to the timing on the screen is also important. Is it harder to see the screen from a low row?
If anyone sat in a lower row and has some pictures of your view, it'd be great to see!
TIA!
