For anyone on the fence between the 19s and 20s, I’m really happy I went with the 20s. They’ll probably be a $2K option on the non-Launch version anyway, so I figured I might as well make the most of the Launch Series!

At first, I went with the 19’s becsuse the 20’s on the website didn’t look appealing in my opinion.

After reviewing posts here and YouTube, I updated my order. I was expecting the wheels to have more of a grayish finish and was actually planning to powder coat them satin black. But after seeing them in person, I canceled the appointment. They’re much darker than I expected and look great as is!

I also saw someone post pictures with the wheel covers removed, and they looked noticeably lighter (possibly because of the sunlight). Originally, I was planning to remove the covers too because they looked like sunflowers in Tesla’s pictures 😂, but after seeing them in person, I decided to keep them on.

**As for ride comfort, the 20s ride surprisingly smooth!** I haven’t driven the 19s, so I can’t give a direct comparison, but I have absolutely no complaints about the ride quality.

One thing to consider if you’re thinking about switching: changing your configuration could potentially affect your EDD. For me, I switched from 19s to 20s more than a month after placing my order, and it didn’t appear to negatively impact my delivery timeline. I still received my car in September!

Either way, I’m extremely happy with my decision. Hope this helps anyone still on the fence between the two wheel options.

Good luck to everyone still waiting for their Y L! Hope you get yours soon!
