I analyzed 87 posts from the same X creator. Two patterns stood out immediately.

I've been trying to understand why some people consistently perform better on X.

Instead of studying their viral posts, I analyzed 87 posts from the same creator and compared recurring patterns against the account's own baseline.

Two things surprised me:

Original posts: +58.9% vs baseline

Question-based hooks: +56.5% vs baseline

The second one was based on 14 posts, so it wasn't just one lucky viral tweet.

And that's what I found interesting.

We spend a lot of time studying people's best posts.

But a viral post can be timing, topic or luck.

A pattern that keeps appearing across dozens of posts is much harder to ignore.

I'm now analyzing more accounts to see which patterns repeat across different creators.
