"third injury means death" is insanely generous, but i don't mind making XCOM/ZCOM games more accessible/forgiving to new players

Scout is by far the best dual-spec 90% of the time, generates lots of advantage and on expert the spotting will offset the range issues

Soldier's Rocket Launcher ult should cost between 7 AP , not 10

Cly stacking darts with Tel pushing enemies into a clump (if she can't push them off the map) is so strong (alternatively use a droid with nades)

early to midgame all you need is Heavy+Medic , later on (if you dont use Cly and/or Tel) a droid with a gunslinger/sharpshooter will clean up most things if you have a scout (or someone with rangefinder) to apply "spotted" . Later on Medic becomes kind of useless besides the ultimate (morale boost) since it heals you for so much for 10 rounds that you can basically ignore cover, ignore enemies and do whatever

AoE taunt from afar and behind cover to waste the maximum of enemy AP

Assault+Heavy, Assault+Scout, Medic+Scout, and whatever damage dealer you wanna try is a funny combo, nonstop AoE taunt (salvo+bulwark) 2 groups of enemies (which is usually everyone), AoE spot everyone (salvo)

farming bonds Lv1-4 with random hires is quick and easy, make whoever you want to boost bonds the most a medic and spam stim on the others at the end of combat for 3 rounds

Tel can nuke anyone with lightsaber throw after you stacked some harmony with push and pull

Kabb full melee build as Assault/Soldier is surprisingly strong, you can usually oneshot any commando droid with the 3 melee hits, or run a long distance and bull rush someone you oneshot to restore AP, then go ham on their backline and stun the priority target. give him -50% melee dmg taken and some armor equips and he won't die

i didn't look anything up, i enjoyed figuring things out myself, game is simple anyway, let's not act like it isn't, also please nobody get weird and gate-keepy, my post was not aiming to incite any of that. i might have missed something more OP involving for instance scoundrel guaranteed crits but i doubt it, my dmg dealers usually crit most times anyway, so i never saw a reason to bring a scoundrel.

**Trick is my bff, Tel is my daughter, Cly is my wife, i won't tolerate any slander about the family.**

Beat Beskar Expert. 1 injury, no deaths. Really surprised how much i liked the story and especially loved the companions! Great game.
