What are the most effective ways to sell a resale apartment in India?

For people who have recently sold a resale apartment, what methods actually worked for you?

I'm trying to understand how effective the different channels are today:

• Are MagicBricks / 99acres paid or premium plans actually useful for getting genuine buyers?
• Which other property portals have worked well for resale properties?
• How effective are local real-estate brokers compared with online portals?
• What's the best way to find and contact a good network of brokers in a particular city?
• Do Facebook/WhatsApp groups, Instagram, or other social platforms generate genuine property enquiries?
• What brokerage percentage is normally charged for resale apartments?
• Are there any lesser-known methods that have worked particularly well?

I've found that simply listing on the major portals generates a lot of calls/messages but not necessarily serious buyers, so I'm interested in hearing actual experiences from people who have completed a resale transaction.

Would especially appreciate experiences from people who have sold apartments in Hyderabad or other major Indian cities.
