LarkMetric - evidence-first AI companion discovery
I run LarkMetric, a privacy-first discovery and comparison project for AI companion services.
The idea is simple: comparison claims should be separated from affiliate payout.
Instead of hiding uncertainty inside one score, LarkMetric distinguishes between:
- DOCUMENTED - supported by current first-party evidence
- OBSERVED - directly reproducible or verified
- UNKNOWN - missing, stale, or contradictory evidence
The current focus is on things users actually struggle to compare:
- persistent memory vs short-term context
- live voice vs voice messages or playback
- privacy and retention
- delete-chat vs delete-memory vs delete-account
- subscriptions, credits, and extra paid layers
- age and location eligibility
LarkMetric itself is not a chatbot and does not require a consumer account for the current public comparison tools.
Some destination links can pay LarkMetric a commission. That does not change the evidence or fit order.
