Autistic burnout recovery camp
Hear me out
A big piece of land with beautiful nature. Many cozy cabins, but far enough apart to have enough privacy.
A place where you can finally recover.
You can order groceries and can choose to deliver them to your doorstep without having contact or you can choose to open the door for the delivery person.
You can stay as long as you want, do whatever you want, without pressure, without anyone judging you. You can also leave whenever you want. Or visit home and come back.
There will be a center for the people who crave some form of connection. You can be with other autistic people. It’s okay to unmask. You can leave whenever you want without having to say goodbye to everyone. But it’s also okay to stay in your cabin without seeing anyone at all.

A girl can dream, right?
So many people in an autistic burnout want to “disappear”, including me, but I think it’s all because of the constant pressure, masking, performing. Sometimes it just feels like we’re drowning.
So.. any more ideas for the perfect recovery camp?😋
