Is there any interesting DM controlled NPC character or a companion?

So, we're a group of lvl 3 adventurers (finaly! after 4-5 session! and we start at lvl 2! xd)

And we met one nut lover squirrel, that never leaves us and always mocking us.

So, there is a snickers joke thats goin on, one friend always have a snicker bar in his bag, always munching whenever he have nothing to do. Then there is that squirrel come and taste the blood, I mean the nut and start to come with us EVERYWHERE! I wish that we never give him that first snicker.

DM make it show himself time to time and little bastard is a master of deals and mock us like a bard, little prick.

At first we tried to attack him, it was on the land but one friend did stop us from hurting him. But then squirrel did mock us, tell us things like we're weak and how scared from him etcetera. We said "Naaah, we have business to done" and travel around, then at our night camp, we saw him again. Some of friends were angry for before so tried to attack BUT not because of his AC is high but our die's didnt manage to come higher than 5 or 6! we miss all of our projectiles and mock us with a cartoon character voice and smack his own ass then disappear. After stealing one snicker. Then after a while that little prick helped us in a spar fight with a towns guardsman and asked for an another snickers as a payment, he deserved it ngl, we give him one more. Then we get lost in the caves while searching for someone, squirrel asked for an another snicker, we asked how he get there, he said something like "There is always someone getting lost, I also follow you guys" we asked why he said snickers. We said F'off he said you will be the one that F'd off after getting lost. We said Okay then we can give you a half of snicker, get us out, he said "I will get half of my payment beforehand"

Deal is done, he have to lead "Turn right from there"..... "is that it?" "You guys think I am stupid? the moment I tell you whole way out of here you will try to kill me" and we get along with him till he get us out.

Then we saw some sounds and shadows, we lost ALL the rolls to see or hear who they are and squirrel helped us because we fucked up too bad and he want that other half of snickers also xd

Then we learn that those are gnomes, having an airship there to travel, and they deal "spice" around. We made a deal for a white elegators hide, and they said "its too much you want, we can give you this" and give us spicy powder. Then we fly with them, not with spice but the ship, also spice too though. Squirrel too, that nut lover was in Nirvana.

Then we suddenly heard a flying noise, a big thing, at mid air, following us, and we see a fkn bone dragon flying toward us and that squirrel get himself together, sober up and said "OH BROTHER!" "Yes that seems dangerous" "NO NO THATS MY BROTHER!" xd

And then we learn that this squirrel have a damn big family tree. Papa squirrel was working hard.

And its not that long since we start this campain. I think we will see a lot of other thing about this squirrel, if we not kill the bastard before that happens though.

I think its our Doblin the Goblin now.

So was there a character or an npc or a player companion friend like this?
