Micro needling or Chemical peel

Hi I have minor acne scars located on my sideburns region and some hyperpigmentation. I’ve been reading about chemical peels being more effective especially with active acne going on but I’ve been reading horror stories specifically about TCA and it making it worse. I’m wondering if I should just leave it alone or try doing micro-needling.
