Still No Growth Even for + CTRL

I still can't see growth on my plates even after 20 hrs of incubation 🤧 i spread 100ul of 10^-3 diluted bacterial gut samples. I added 0.5ml of cycloheximide and ethanol (5mg/ml conc) before pouring them into plates. I don't think this is the reason why though.

During the dilution process, i may not have been able to properly vortex the samples :/ i thought the vortex was broken (because it was for a period) but i tried it now, i think i have overloaded the tube which prevented for the vortex to form and prevent the cryobeads to release the bacteria and evenly distribute it to the saline solution 😭

Can I reuse the agar plates since I'll only be redoing the sample dilution? Or i remove the agar and make a new batch but reuse the plastic petri plates? I don't wanna waste as much because I'm funding my own research for grad school :(
