You say fetishizing trans people is bad yet you believe in supporting trans sex workers???

I just can't see how being against the fetishization of trans people could possibly align with caring about the rights of trans sex workers, shouldn't you be trying to prevent trans people from doing sex work in the first place if you don't want them to be fetishized? Yes of course I mean by making it more difficult to safely and legally do independent sex work, not by actually improving trans people's overall quality of life so they aren't pushed into doing sex work out of necessity. What do you mean humanizing trans sex workers, fighting against the stigma around doing sex work and advocating for sex workers' rights are all vitally important ways to combat fetishization and exploitation which already run rampant in both the industries they work in and in wider society? That can't possibly be true, we just have to punish sex workers for doing sex work so they'll stop and then they won't be fetishized anymore!
