Dark side of the logics?
This dicussion on the gifts' impostors made me think... do you think there's a darker side to your logic? Not in a Lost Girl/Ice Queen way, more like your logic is part of a strategy that might not be healthy?
I'll explain: I do use Right Up logic most days. But I don't think it's necessarily a good thing. I've always been somewhat insecure about how I looked, and I'm not always confident in general as well. I've always felt like I was a bit separate (idk, maybe everyone feels like that?) and that I kinda was perpetually slightly on the outside of any group I find myself in. I'm not someone who naturally belongs, in a way - and I seldom feel like I'm enough. So dressing also becomes part of a strategy that allows me to present a certain image, to pretend like I belong. Wear the right things, and fool everyone, in a way. They don't look at you or how you look physically, they look at the polished, appropriate image you present. Smokes and mirrors, in a way.
I keep on thinking that if I was more confident, I wouldn't need that much effort, I could just be me and live in clothes that I like & are comfy, and that would be enough - I wouldn't be so afraid to be seen and found lacking. Idk, I might not make much sense, I'm tired & my hormones are all out of whack... do you feel like there's something like that in your logic too?
