My cat is literally trying to kill me🫩

I’m beginning to get really tired of this. For some reason, my cat has really taken a liking to my insulin tubing. Whenever I sleep, I sometimes wake up to find that he has broken the tubing. This morning, I showered and removed my pump, then placed it under an object on my chair so he wouldn’t find it, but somehow he still did.
This has been going on for over a year now, ever since I got him, and nothing seems to work. I’ve searched Google for solutions but haven’t had any luck. What would you recommend I do in this situation?
The problem is also that I have pretty bad memory, so if I put it somewhere like a cabinet while showering, I will most likely forget about it and realize that I don’t have it with me when I’m already at work, which would be a problem.
