Feeling left behind

18M here, I’m gonna be entering uni next year and so i have the whole year free but a lot of my classmates entered their courses already and i honestly feel left behind when i see their stories and stuff. They already have tons of friends and partners while I remain in my house either lazing around or tryna work on smt to at least feel productive in some sort of way.

I sometimes doubt my own decision of taking this year off but I had to for certain reasons and it stings me when I see my friends move around in life even though I love it for them cuz I’m forced to stay stationary the whole time.

I’m not sure if what I’m feeling is the norm but this is the first time I’ve felt this way and I don’t know how to process it.
