Refunding my order if I didn't receive it

I wanted to ask just in case of worse case scenario and the company didn't refund me themselves; I recently made an order with Barnes and Noble, turns out the shipping company they use (USPS/Asendia) doesn't ship to my country (and they didn't notify B&N, otherwise they wouldn't have received my order in the first place) I wonder how helpful Paypal is at getting my money back just in case B&N doesnt deliver my order or reply to my customer service emails, when its past the promised delivery date, with tracking proof that it wouldnt have left the facility.Thanks in advance! Ps. I paid with my paypal money not credit or bank connected to my paypal.
