Shipped a small side project: a directory that pairs 27 free/open-source AI tools against the paid tools people usually pay for — ChatGPT Plus, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Grammarly, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Perplexity Pro, Otter.ai.

You can filter by what it replaces, what profession it's for, or whether it's open source/self-hostable. Every tool lists real free-tier limits with a last-checked date instead of just "free forever!" marketing copy.

Stack: static single-page site, all client-side filtering, no backend. There's a suggestion form linked on the site if you know a tool I'm missing — would love the feedback.
